Product description Ron Cristóbal Pinta 6-8 Y.O., 40%
Cristobal Pinta is a premium rum blend from the Dominican Republic that matures for 6 to 8 years in bourbon barrels. The Pinta was the first ship that Christopher Columbus crossed the Atlantic in 1492. It was the fastest ship and sailor Rodrigo de Triana is said to be the first man from the Pinta's crew to sight America on October 12, 1492.
Aroma: Pleasantly soft with warm vanilla aromas and soft oak notes, followed by a touch of fresh mint.
Taste: A subtle sweetness fills the mouth and develops into fresh mint and marzipan. This rum is fresh, full and easy to drink. The mixture is complemented by a soft tone of wood.
The Ron Cristóbal series presents a range of premium rums for adventurers from around the world! Named after the famous world explorer Christopher Columbus and bearing his portrait, this rum is produced in the Dominican Republic and represents the unique rum flavors that the region has to offer. It is matured 100% in a tropical environment in the Dominican Republic and is blended using only the specified aging rums - and not the "Solera" system.
In the Ron Cristóbal series, you will find rums suitable for cocktails and bars, as well as two premium rums named after Columbus's ships. The range pays homage to the historical aspects of rum drinking; and every sip is a new adventure!
