  • The Virshields medical face mask is a Class I medical device. It consists of three layers of non-woven fabric in the form of spunbond-meltblown-spunbond.
  • The innermost layer is a non-woven fabric that absorbs fluids secreted by the wearer. The outer layer is water repellent to protect the wearer from splashes. The filter layer in the center is the most important part of the medical mask because it provides a barrier to bacteria.
  • In addition, the mask has an aluminium nose clip (100 mm) and a 14 mm wide soft elastic earpiece for a perfect fit.
  • The folded design allows the wearer to flexibly adjust the mask to the shape of the face.
  • The medical face mask has been classified as type IIR in accordance with EN 14683:2019-AC:2019.
  • The Virshields Type IIR Medical Face Mask is a designated non-sterile, disposable medical device.
  • The mask is breathable, protecting medical staff and patients from the transmission of germs (including droplet infections and respiratory diseases) during medical treatment.
