Compañero Panama Extra Añejo is a flavored rum originating from Panama. It consists of old rums aged at least 12 years, which undergo a special process after maturation: the barrels are emptied, their insides are smeared with a layer of natural extract from cocoa beans, and then they are filled with rum again.

In such a "chocolate" barrel, the rum lies for another 6-8 weeks, during which the alcohol intensively works with the cocoa extract. The result is a wonderful rum that will win you over with its depth, smooth taste and intense notes of cocoa and chocolate.

Nose: Strong dark chocolate with a high cocoa content, hot cream, a small touch of citrus in the background.

Taste: Almost like a chocolate muffin with predominant notes of cocoa. Pleasant, but not overly sweet taste.
