Since 1630, in the heart of the Cognac vineyards, 10 generations of Ferrands have passed on the knowledge of vines and distillation. This premier Cru de Cognac is a tribute to these men, for whom great cognac was above all the fruit of labor on great terroir.

Mademoiselle Henriette, the last direct descendant of this prestigious line, was the guardian of this precious formula throughout her life and lived in the venerable mansion of her ancestors. She decided to entrust it to us and is the inspiration for this excellent blend. They named it "10 Générations".

Grande Champagne Cognac, 10 Générations is produced only from Ugni-Blanc grapes. It is slowly distilled and matured in French oak and Sauternes barrels.

Color: Golden.

Aroma: Honey, apricot, coconut, caramel, fruit cake and raisins.

Taste: Expect notes of dried fruit, pineapple, nuts, flowers and spring blossom. The finish is long and fresh with mint notes, then fresh tobacco.

The vineyards that give Cognac Ferrand its distinctive style are planted in the Angeac region in the heart of Grande Champagne, considered the top quality Cru de Cognac. Angeac-Champagne is part of what connoisseurs call the "Golden Triangle", which includes the best Grande Champagne vineyards.

At Logis d'Angeac, the distillation process takes place under the supervision of the fifth generation of brand masters. Ferrand Cognac is distilled slowly, in small stills with a capacity of 25 hectoliters, and is characterized by a distinctive shaped head that helps to concentrate the aromas and flavors of the wine distilled into fine lees. The unfiltered lees, which are extremely rich in fruit aromas, help to give the raw body the spirit and flavor that cognac acquires in the aging process.

Ferrand Cognac owes its personality not only to the terroir in which it is located, but also to the grapes, distillation, barrels or slow aging. They also derive their distinctiveness from the subtle and precise art of mixing. At Logis d'Angeac, five generations of cellar masters have passed on their accumulated knowledge to their successors. Mixing is a highly skilled job. It takes years of practice and a lot of talent and intuition before a blender can choose the spirits that will best complement and combine in perfect harmony to create an incomparable cognac.
