Exotic tonka beans from the Venezuelan rainforests are among the most distinctive and popular ingredients in modern gastronomy. Its intense aroma is reminiscent of a combination of vanilla, almonds, caramel and sandalwood, giving dishes an unmistakable character.

Tonka beans grow on massive trees in the tropical climate of Venezuela. After harvesting, the fruits are dried, then macerated in rum and dried again, giving them their typical aroma and rich aromatic profile. The result is a spice with a deep sweet-spicy taste and a slightly bitter finish. It stands out best freshly grated on a fine grater, similar to nutmeg. A really small amount is enough, because its aroma is extremely intense.

It is perfect for desserts, creams, chocolate, ice cream, cheesecakes, but also for coffee, cocktails or modern gastronomy.

Warning: Tonka bean contains coumarin, so it is recommended to use it in moderation. However, in small quantities it is commonly used in gastronomy for its strong aroma.

The peppers are harvested at full maturity and then dried and crushed into fine flakes that allow for easy and precise dosing. The taste of Bhut Jolokia is complex and gradually develops. First, fruity notes reminiscent of dried plums, dark berries and a subtle smoke appear, before an intense and long-lasting heat sets in.

The legendary SPOG barbecue mix is ​​built on a simple yet perfectly balanced combination of high-quality salt, pepper, onion and garlic. Each ingredient has been selected to create a distinctive, full and naturally smoky flavour suitable for any barbecue. The name SPOG comes from the basic ingredients – Salt, Pepper, Onion, Garlic. However, our version is no ordinary mix. We used premium Tellicherry black pepper with fruity notes, sea salt from the Croatian island of Nin, smoked sea salt from Denmark, roasted onions, dried onions and fermented black garlic, which gives the mix a slightly caramel and umami character. The coarser grind ensures a more pronounced flavour and better texture when grilling.

The mix is ​​great for beef, steaks, chicken, fish, vegetables, burgers or baked potatoes. It also works great as a universal seasoning for marinades or directly on ready-made dishes. The taste is distinctive, lightly smoked, spicy and perfectly balanced without unnecessary artificial additives.

The Origin of CHIPOTLE BOMB We blended CHIPOTLE BOMB for everyone who likes strong grilling flavors and a subtle heat. The base is smoked Mexican chipotle chili from jalapeño peppers, which are traditionally smoked over wood for several days. We added wild citrus Maqaw pepper from northern Vietnam, black pepper from Madagascar, roasted onions, garlic and smoked sea salt to the mixture. The result is a barbecue mixture with a smoky, slightly sweet and fresh citrus flavor that goes great with meat, vegetables and fish.

How does CHIPOTLE BOMB taste? The flavor is full, smoky and spicy. First you will smell the smoked chipotle and roasted onions, later the subtle citrus freshness of the Maqaw pepper and the pleasant heat of the jalapeño chili.
