Mercerised cotton is created by soaking the fabric which is held under tension in sodium hydroxide solution
Once the fabric is washed and dried the process creates a smoother and stronger fabric which means less risk of shrinkage as well as higher dye absorption which means a deeper longer lasting shade of fabric
The cotton in this product was grown by Better Cotton Initiative (BCI™) certified farmers (1036081-1).
