Premium mountain black pepper from the Indian region of Wayanad, named after Mount Benasura, which is one of the most famous pepper growing areas in South India. This exceptional variety was created by combining the traditional Malabar varieties Karimunda and Panniyur, which are known for their intense aroma and distinctive taste. The plants grow up to 12 meters high and produce unusually large berries with late harvest. Due to the longer ripening, the spice acquires a full spicy taste with a delicate spiciness and a light fruity tone. Each berry is hand-picked and then naturally dried in the sun.

Benasura is a universal black pepper suitable for everyday cooking and final seasoning of dishes. It perfectly complements beef, poultry, fish, grilled vegetables, sauces, soups and pasta.
